Are you a live-in housekeeper looking for a new part-time role?
We are looking for a live-in housekeeper to start working for a lovely Indian family of four, located in Central Oxford (OX2). The main responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness of their 5-bedrooms home and prepare a light vegetarian breakfast. The household includes two children (15 & 17). The family employs a live-out driver / maintenance person and Chef.
Working schedule: Monday to Friday, up to 50 hours per week, split hours between the day when the family requires most of the help.
Starting date: ASAP
The duties include:
- Sweeping, hoovering, cleaning, dusting
- Laundry and ironing
- Organising the bedrooms, changing bedding, fluffing pillows
- Cleaning all areas of the kitchen
- Tidying after meals
- Organising the cupboards, fridge, pantries
- Deep cleaning of bathrooms
- Cleaning down surfaces and polishing
- Running errands
The minimum requirements to apply are:
- Previous experience in working for a private family
- Good level of English
- A driving licence will be a huge bonus, but not essential
- Only non-smokers and fully vaccinated will be considered
- DBS check and excellent references required prior to start
Job Benefits
The salary is £35,000 to £42,000 gross per annum. Also, the position comes with 28 days of paid holidays (including bank holidays). The accommodation consists of a bedroom and bathroom, with a separate kitchen, with TV and Wifi. Whenever the Principals are travelling, the employees will be given their pre-approved annual leaves during these times only.
