Are you a Nanny in London searching for a new live-in or live-out role?
A lovely professional family based in Highgate, London (N2) is seeking a live-in / live-out Nanny (driver must) to care for their two children aged G5 & G3 y/o. This is a long-term, sole-charge position. Both children attend full-time education and are active, loving indoor and outdoor activities, enjoying reading and curious about learning new things. The family is expecting another baby soon (with a maternity nanny contracted).
The family lives in a very beautiful, large house, and they employ a housekeeper who looks after the children’s laundry and also another live-in nanny who has been with them for a long time.
The successful candidate will be looking for a long-term commitment, someone patient, caring, bright and self-started. Having a driving licence for this role is a must. Cooking dinner a few times per week for the whole family will be expected. This role will involve some travelling with the family during holidays.
The main duties will be looking after the children’s day-to-day routine: Getting children up in the morning, giving them breakfast, and taking them to school. Prepare meals for kids throughout the day. Look after grocery shopping for all the meals. Pick children up from school at the right times of the day. Plan activities for the time when children are off school. Help mother organize kids’ birthday parties or other relevant events. You will be in charge of the bedtime routine. Work with the parents on children’s education and development.
Working hours: 7.30am to 7.30pm, Wednesday to Sunday (nanny is expected to cover bank holidays on Mondays & the working days that particular week will be Thu-Mon);
The starting date is ASAP.
Core Duties
• Complete all nannying duties, sole charge
• Cooking and all nursey duties
• Driving for school drop-off & pick-ups
• Arrange leisure activities, educational excursions and activities
• Locating age-appropriate activities that will benefit the children
• Prioritise safety at all times
• Bedtime routine
Role Requirements
• High level of English
• Similar experience with these ages
• Clean driving licence (ideally own vehicle)
• Early Year child development knowledge (EYFS or KS1)
• Cooking skills
• Paediatric first aid certificate
• Enhanced DBS check and excellent references
Job Benefits
The salary is £45,000 to £50,000 gross pa for the live-in option, depending on experience and qualifications. Accommodation consists of own fully furnished en-suite bedroom with TV and house-wide wi-fi access. Food included. During your time off, you can either stay with the family or go home. Car can be provided. Parking available.
For the live out option, the salary is up to £55,000 gross pa, depending on experience and qualifications.
This is a PAYE role, and the position comes with 40 days of paid holiday, which makes it an amazing role. The holidays can be taken mainly during school terms and not more than 7-8 days at once, preferably. This is a returning client of our agency, a reputable international HNW family.
