Are you a Nanny in London searching for a new part-time role?
A lovely professional family based in Highgate, London (N2) is seeking a Weekend Nanny + School holidays (or at least weekends & bank holidays). As per the working schedule, this role will definitely suit a teacher looking for more hours. The Nanny must be a confident driver and will care for two children aged G5 & G3 y/o. This can be both a live-in / live-out / mixed, sole charge and long-term position.
Both children are quite active, loving indoor and outdoor activities, enjoying reading and curious about learning new things. The main duties will be looking after the children’s day to day & weekend routine: Get children up in the morning, give them breakfast, prepare meals for kids through the day. Plan activities & being in charge of the bedtime routine.
The successful candidate will be looking for long-term commitment, someone patient, caring, bright and self-started. Having a driving licence for this role is a must. Travel with the family for holidays will be expected, with notice in advance.
The family lives in a beautiful, large house, and they employ a housekeeper who looks after most of the children’s laundry and they also have a Monday-Friday Live-in Nanny (who has been with them a long time).
Working hours: 7.30am to 7.30pm, Saturday & Sunday (must) + bank holidays (ideally). More hours can be offered!
The starting date is ASAP.
Core Duties
- Complete all nannying duties, sole charge
- Cooking and nursey duties
- Arrange leisure activities, educational excursions and activities
- Locating age-appropriate activities that will benefit the children
- Prioritise safety at all times
- Bedtime routine
Role Requirements
- Mastery of English
- Similar experience with these ages
- Clean driving licence (ideally own vehicle)
- Early Year child development knowledge (EYFS or KS1)
- Cooking skills
- Paediatric first aid certificate
- Enhanced DBS check and excellent references
Job Benefits
The salary will be reflecting the number of hours the chosen candidate can commit to, calculated on an hourly rate of £20 to £25 gross per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. If you choose the live-in option, the accommodation consists of own fully furnished en-suite bedroom with TV and house wide wi-fi access. Food included. Car can be provided. Parking available. The role comes will pro-rata paid holiday. This is a returning client of our agency, a reputable international HNW family.
