Why Hire a Personal Assistant With Us?

We complete the most extensive background checks in the industry, including references, fine defaults, driving licence history, various registers, judgments, DBS, home country records and more. Our experience of interviewing hundreds of candidates provides us with an edge to read people better than anyone else.

We offer all our customers up to a one-year agency guarantee. This means that for every placement we make, we will offer a free replacement within one full calendar year. This also means we will not just push you to hire irrelevant candidates, but we actually stand by the candidates we recommend. By working with us, you will benefit from the most extensive candidate vetting in the industry!

You will only get charged in the case of a successful placement – and nothing is paid in advance! This means no agency signup fee and no trial fee.

Most of the hospitality recruitment agencies just post an ad and they’re done. If they get applicants, great, otherwise tough luck. However, we’re actively approaching and contacting potential candidates in various groups, websites, boards and through word of mouth. We also laser-target ads on social networks. And since we only do permanent roles, we have a very good pool of candidates.

Since we work with high-profile customers, all our clients benefit from legally binding confidentiality. The candidates will sign an NDA and will not know the name of our client until you select them for the interview.

We know that the more people you try, the higher the success rate. That’s why we will only charge you when you hire someone, not also when you trial candidates.

Budgeting For Hiring a Personal Assistant

An entry-level personal assistant will expect to earn between £25,000 and £35,000 per annum (£1,598 net to £1,994 net each month). If you’re looking for someone more experienced, the salary could go as high as £60,000.

These figures are subject to requirements and market conditions. For example, you may require a travelling personal assistant or one that speaks multiple languages. In these circumstances, their skills and working conditions should receive payment accordingly.

On top of these costs, you should also account for the employer’s NI contributions which are about 10% on top of the gross salary.

Considerations for Hiring a Personal Assistant

Agreements: It’s an absolute must to know exactly the work hours, duties, compensation, holiday, if travelling is required, bonuses, perks etc.

Travelling: do you need her to travel with you? If so, how often and what are the arrangements for that?

Nature of Duties: Clearly define the tasks and responsibilities you want your PA to handle. This could range from basic administrative tasks to more complex duties like event planning or travel arrangements.

Skills and Experience: Based on the nature of the duties, determine what skills and experience are crucial. For instance, if you travel internationally often, a PA experienced in travel logistics might be beneficial.

Personality and Compatibility: Since you’ll be working closely with your PA, ensure your personalities mesh well and that they’re compatible with your working style.

Cultural Fit: Ensure the PA aligns with the culture of your business or household, understanding any specific nuances or requirements.

Training and Onboarding: Consider how you’ll onboard your PA. Will you provide specific training, or do you expect them to hit the ground running?

Growth Opportunities: PAs often appreciate when there’s room for growth or skill enhancement in their roles, so consider potential pathways or training opportunities.

Feedback Mechanisms: Have a system in place for regular feedback and communication to ensure both parties are satisfied with the arrangement.

Benefits for Hiring a Personal Assistant

In today’s dynamic world, multitasking has become the norm. But as responsibilities pile up, even the most efficient among us can find ourselves overwhelmed. This is where a personal assistant steps in, offering a helping hand to streamline tasks, manage time better, and essentially amplify productivity. The role of a personal assistant has evolved dramatically over the years, adapting to the ever-changing demands of modern life. Let’s explore the myriad benefits of hiring a personal assistant.

Time Management
The most evident benefit of having a personal assistant is the gift of time. From organizing your calendar to scheduling appointments and ensuring you meet deadlines, a personal assistant can help you allocate your time more efficiently, ensuring you focus on tasks that truly require your attention.

Task Delegation
Having someone to delegate tasks to can be liberating. Whether it’s handling emails, making phone calls, booking travel, or running personal errands, a personal assistant can manage these, freeing up your mental and physical bandwidth for more significant tasks.

Enhanced Organization
A good personal assistant thrives on organization. They can streamline your workflow, manage files, remind you of important dates, and ensure that both your personal and professional lives are well-coordinated.

Increased Productivity
With fewer tasks on your plate and more time on your hands, you can focus on what you do best. This undistracted focus can significantly enhance your output, be it in a professional capacity or personal project.

Stress Reduction
Juggling multiple responsibilities can be stressful. By offloading tasks and knowing that aspects of your day-to-day life are being managed competently, you can significantly reduce stress levels, leading to better overall well-being.

Professional Representation
A personal assistant can often be the first point of contact for people trying to reach you. Their professionalism in handling communications can create a positive impression, establishing a favourable image right from the outset.

The modern personal assistant is versatile, often bringing a diverse skill set to the table. From basic administrative tasks to digital marketing, event planning, or even finance management, a personal assistant’s role can be as varied as your needs dictate.

Having someone to discuss ideas with or share confidential information can be invaluable, especially if they are trained to maintain discretion. A trustworthy personal assistant can serve as a confidante, ensuring your personal and professional secrets are safe.

Personal Growth
With more time and mental space, you can invest in personal growth. Whether it’s picking up a new hobby, learning a new skill, or simply spending more time with loved ones, a personal assistant allows you the luxury to grow beyond your work.

While hiring a personal assistant is an investment, the returns in terms of time saved, increased productivity, and the potential for increased earnings can make it a cost-effective decision in the long run.

Many personal assistants today work on a flexible schedule or even remotely. This flexibility ensures that you get assistance as and when you need it, without the constraints of a traditional 9-to-5 setup.

A well-connected personal assistant can open doors to new business opportunities, introduce you to valuable contacts, or even keep you informed about industry trends and events. Their network can become an invaluable resource.

Quality of Life
At its core, hiring a personal assistant can significantly enhance your quality of life. With reduced stress, better time management, and the ability to focus on what truly matters, life can become more enjoyable and fulfilling.

In conclusion, hiring a personal assistant is not just about having someone to manage tasks; it’s about amplifying potential. It’s an investment in efficiency, growth, and balance. In an era where the boundaries between personal and professional are increasingly blurred, a personal assistant stands as the bridge, ensuring that both spheres operate harmoniously. Whether you’re a busy executive, an entrepreneur, or someone looking to reclaim time, the benefits of hiring a personal assistant can be transformative.
