- Have a minimum of three years of childcare experience
- Have a valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Hold in-date CPR certification as well as an in-date first aid qualification. If not, you must be willing to obtain these qualifications prior to starting the job
- Provide professional references that can be verified
- Be able to speak native level or close to native level English
- Be someone who does not smoke
- Have a record of trustworthiness reliability, professionalism and punctuality
- Have received a clear tuberculosis test result as well as Tdap vaccines. If not, you must get these completed before beginning a position
- Other specific vaccines
- Commit to at least one-year placement for families looking for long-term staff
- Be resourceful and a self-starter
- Be able to travel domestically or internationally when required
- Educated to college level with relevant qualifications
- Special certifications when necessary, for example, lifeguard certificate etc.
- Special training or be willing to get certified before starting a position
